April 12, 2026

Bouncing back from day one, the Dodge City cheer squad nailed their routine on day two at the National Cheer Association National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, to capture some more hardware, winning the Intermediate Small Coed Junior College title for the fourth straight year.

The Conquistadors have now won the Intermediate Small Coed Junior College division NCA National Championship all four years competing at that level.

The competition started on Friday, and the Conqs had a slight misstep on day one, recording a performance score of 86.0463, good for third place after day one. Day two, the Conqs were strong, cleaning up the performance and recording the top score in the division on the day at 93.4167. The combined score worked out to average of 91.5471 and the Conqs pushed into first place overall by just 0.037 to four-peat as the Intermediate Small Coed Junior College champions.

Under Brett Rojas in his first season as Head Coach, the Conqs continued the Gold Standard and notched another win under the program's belt with their fourth Intermediate Small Coed Junior College title and sixth NCA College Championship overall as a program.
