About the Program

DC3 Cheer is a program that will not only be active on the sidelines of Conquistador sporting events and in the Dodge City community, but we will also be competing at the NCA Collegiate Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. DC3 Cheer is a small coed program consisting of 4-8 males and 20-24 females. We offer scholarships that will vary depending on current skill set at tryouts, as well as specific team needs. Every member of the DC3 Cheer squad will be eligible for an academic scholarship through athletics if they graduate high school with a 3.5 or higher GPA and/or maintain a cumulative 3.5 or higher GPA while attending DC3.

Recommended skills:
Females:
-          Standing tuck and/or Jumps connected to tuck
-          Standing 2 BHS to Layout/Full
-          Running tumbling to Layout/Full
-          Flyers – Front and side body position flexibility
Males:
-          Standing tuck and/or Jumps connected to tuck
-          Standing 2 BHS to Layout/Full
-          Running tumbling to Layout/Full

*Not having all of these skills DOES NOT make you ineligible for making the DC3 Cheer team. Each year will bring a different skill set for what is needed.
