Interested in a Career in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine?

Dodge City Community College Athletic Training is looking for Student Athletic Trainers

Athletic Trainers work specifically with athletes and recreational athletes helping them recover from their injuries.  Athletic Training is constantly evolving, however, and there are more and more job opportunities available.  Today, athletic trainers can be found working in traditional settings such as high school, college, and professional sports to physical therapy clinics, industrial settings, and the armed forces.  Certified Athletic Trainers must graduate from an accredited athletic training program at a 4-year college or university.  The DC3 student athletic training program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the profession as well as jumpstart their education.  Student athletic trainers will have the opportunity to work directly with the various sports and athletes at DC3 while gaining valuable hands-on experience and classroom instruction that will make them more attractive candidates for an accredited athletic training program.

If interested, please contact Head Athletic Trainer, Kristen Rogers.
