Weight Room

Constructed in 2023 Dodge City Community College upgraded the weight room to improve the training area for the student-athletes as a portion of the Physical Education building was renovated into a weight room of over 3,400 square feet giving the athletic department double the space of the previous weight room.

Opening in the fall of 2023 the new weight will feature new equipment including five squat racks, five-multi-station gym machines, dumbbells, bars, benches, plyo boxes, gym compression mats, yoga balls, kettlebells, med balls, and much more.

The new weight room space features a mezzanine level for more space to help diversify the number of exercises that can be done in the space. The weight room will also feature new custom graphics associated with Conquistador athletics. The room will feature multiple television displays, mirrors, and a sound system, along with four large windows for natural light. The weight room also features access from the exterior and interior of the PE building.
