"I'm excited to be a part of a winning program and work in a winning environment that Coach Witherspoon has developed at Dodge City. I'm eager to work with our players on and off the court as we have a great group of young men this year, and I cannot wait to get on the court with them. My hope is to impact the Dodge City athletics in the most positive way I can. I believe that every day is a new day to win; winning on the court during practices, workouts, and games or within our school, helping our student athletes be successful in the classroom," said Laymon on the opportunity to be a part of the coaching staff at Dodge City.
