Cedric Mondjii is in his first season as assistant men’s basketball coach at Dodge City. He comes to Dodge City after working at the prep academy level as a coach. 
 
For the past two years, Mondjii served as an assistant at Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio, where he was an assistant coach for the women’s program for the 2024-25 season, along with helping the men’s program and working primarily with the men’s post-grad and prep team in 2023-24. His coaching career began at Medaille University in 2021 when he returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for men’s basketball and helped guide the team to a conference championship during the 2021-22 season. 
 
Mondjii won a pair of state titles at Saint Peter’s Prep school before finishing high school at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, Maryland, where he helped the team win a county championship. He would go on to play basketball at the college level, starting at the junior college level, suiting up for Baltimore City Community College, playing in 50 games in two seasons. After his time at BCCC, he transferred to Medaille University in Buffalo, New York, where he completed his collegiate career. 
 
The Brooklyn, New York, native earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Medaille University.
