Adding to the gold standard that has been set for the Dodge City Community College spirit squad program is something Head Coach,
Michael Brewster is striving for as the program comes off a NCA Small Coed Junior College National Championship this past spring.
Coach Brewster has added
Brett Rojas to his staff as an assistant coach to help guide the continued success of the program.
Rojas brings with him coaching experience at all levels from all-star, high school, and collegiate and is a proven champion as he won three NCA College Championships with Texas A&M and Blinn College while coaching. He has also served as a member of the NCA staff both college and traditional staff since 2010 and has helped instruct middle through high school teams. Brett even had the opportunity in 2016 to travel to Japan with the NCA to serve as an instructor for their Far East Camp.
In college Rojas cheered at Blinn and Sam Houston State and competed on teams that won three NCA College championships.
Coach Brewster is excited about the addition of Rojas to his staff. "Brett has the experience and understanding of the "Gold Standard" culture we are building here in Dodge City. He's a proven champion and someone I work extremely well with to build champions on and off the cheerleader mat," said Brewster.
