Dodge City women's soccer upset #9 Trinity Valley on the road in Athens, Texas, and the Conquistadors are starting to draw some attention at a high level. Adriana Garcia Caceres picked up KJCCC Division I Player of the Week honors after her performance in the win over Trinity Valley. 

Garcia Caceres tallied two goals on four shots, adding an assist in the road win over Trinity Valley. In just two games as a freshman for the Conqs, she has recorded five goals on nine shots with one assist. She opened her Conq career with a hat trick, scoring three goals in the season-opening 13-0 win over Trinidad State. 

The Conqs are 3-0 on the season after a 3-1 win over Mineral Area on Tuesday, September 1^st, and now turn their attention to Jayhawk Conference play as they will take on Butler on Wednesday, September 9^th, at home.
