Dodge City volleyball, after a 5-0 week last week, vaulted up the NJCAA Division I rankings, jumping nine spots to #10 in the latest polls released Monday. 
 
The Conquistadors are ranked for the third straight week and sit at 15-4 on the season and 4-0 in the KJCCC after a road win over #16 Barton on Monday night in Great Bend. 
 
Last week, the Conqs dispatched Garden City on the road in three sets and then wrapped up non-conference play at the New Mexico Junior College Tournament by going 4-0. The Conqs picked up straight-set wins over Vernon and North Platte, won in four sets over Polk State, and took a four-set win over #9 New Mexico Military Institute. 
 
The Conqs attention firmly turns to conference play for the remainder of the season as they are tied atop the KJCCC standings with #8 Colby. Up next the Conqs host Hutchinson on Wednesday, September 16^th at 6:30 pm, and then wrap up the week with a trip to Liberal to take on Seward County on Saturday, September 19^th at 2:00 pm.
