After a solid year on the golf course that saw the Dodge City women's golf team win their third straight KJCCC and Region 6 titles and compete at the NJCAA National tournament, the Conquistadors are being recognized for success on the golf course, as they have earned honors for their success in the classroom.
Five Conq golfers have earned All-American Scholar honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association. Sophomores,
Tilly Jones,
Zhana Navato, and
Heewon Pak, along with freshmen,
Molly Lloyd and
Claire Runyan, have all been recognized by the WGCA as they have recognized 1,551 golfers for the 2025-26 academic year across all levels (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA).
To earn the distinction from the WGCA, the student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur along with being on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
The Conqs on the course this season capped the season, finishing 13th at the NJCAA DI National Championships hosted in Coal Valley, Illinois, while winning the KJCCC and Region 6 titles for the third straight year and finishing second in the district.
