The indoor track and field season continued for Dodge City as they competed at an NCAA Division I meet hosted by the University of Nebraska.

The Conquistadors had several personal best performances at the 50th annual Frank Sevigne Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska.Â

Deven Bolton had a strong showing in the high jump as he posted his best jump of the indoor season with a leap of 1.96 meters (6'05") to earn a fifth-place finish.Â

Olivia Leatherman competed in the pentathlon, finishing 11th overall with 2,891 total points across five events, a total that currently ranks eighth in the NJCAA (the Top 16 in the pentathlon qualify for nationals). She competed in the 800-meter run (2:49.96), 60-meter hurdles (9.14), high jump (1.15 meters), long jump (4.81 meters), and shot put (8.11 meters).Â

On the women's side of competition, both
Daniela Cerda and
Denae Arellano each had personal bests in the 3000-meter run with times of 11:00.21 and 11:31.53, respectively.
Sarai Rodriguez posted personal best marks in the 600-meter run (1:57.61) and 800-meter run (2:30.93).Â

In the women's 60-meter dash,
Tynisha Green,
Vanda Amler, and
Zyria Thompson all improved their times, recording times of 8.27, 8.39, and 8.43. Green also had a personal best mark in the 200-meter run (29.35).Â

On the men's side of competition,
Eddie Salinas Millan had a personal best performance in both the 5000-meter run (16:37.80) and the 3000-meter run (9:35.65), while
Oscar Leal Jr. had his best time in the 1-mile run (4:40.69).

In the field events, both
James Littlewood and
Mel Mou had their best performances in the shot put and triple jump. Littlewood recorded a throw of 13.36 meters, and Mou in the triple jump had a leap of 12.94 meters.Â

The Conqs are now set for NJCAA Region 6 Indoor Championships on February 21st-22nd in Pittsburg, Kansas at Pittsburg State University as the Conqs look for strong performances.Â
