Dodge City women's golf traveled back to Oklahoma to continue the fall season, competing in another NCAA Division II event at the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate in Lawton.
The Conquistadors compiled a two-round score of 646 (+78) to finish in sixth place as a team, posting a 330 in the first round and then a 316 in the second round.
Leading the way for the Conqs was
Zhana Navato as she finished 15th with a score of 156 (+14) and was just five strokes out of a Top 10 finish. She recorded an 85 in the first round but had a strong second round with an even-par 71.
Tilly Jones had the second-best finish for the Conqs as she finished 19th behind a score of 159 (+17), carding rounds of 79 and 80.
Heewon Pak was just two strokes behind her teammate Jones as she finished with a score of 161 (+19), recording rounds of 78 and 83.
Hannah Tri finished 28th after recording a two-round score of 168 (+26), shooting rounds of 82 and 86. A 170 (+28) score was put together by
Molly Lloyd as she finished 31st with rounds of 88 and 82, while
Claire Runyan finished 34th with a score of 175 (+33), carding rounds of 88 and 87.
The fall season continues for the Conqs on September 29th-30th as they will travel to Newton, Kansas, to compete at the Newman Invitational hosted at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
