Dodge City cross country teams head into the NJCAA National Championship meet with the women's and men's teams both remaining in the Top 25 of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NJCAA Division I rankings.
The Conquistador women remain at #21 in the latest USTFCCCA NJCAA DI rankings, having now been ranked in 33-straight polls. While the men have been ranked all season and remained ranked at #23 in the latest USTFCCCA NJCAA DI poll.
The ladies enter the national meet off a sixth-place finish at the NJCAA Region 6 Championships as
Daniela Cerda earned All-Region honors for the Conqs. Over the season, the ladies have finished ninth or better in all six meets, with four in sixth place or better.
The men head into nationals after a seventh-place team performance at the NJCAA Region 6 Championships, which saw
Josue Vega earn All-Region and All-KJCCC honors. The men have finished seventh or better in five of the six meets this season.
NJCAA DI National Championships are set for Saturday, November 8th in Fort Dodge, Iowa as the men will race at 12:00pm and the women at 1:00pm.
