The NJCAA Cross Country National Championships was in white out conditions as runners competed in snowy conditions in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to finish out the 2025 cross country season.
The Dodge City men's cross country capped their season with a 25th-place finish as a team, with five runners finishing the race at nationals.
Rafael Zaballa del Hoyo posted the best time for the Conquistadors as he ran to a time of 27:30.9 to place 73rd overall out of 210 runners.
Josue Vega was just behind his teammate, placing 76th with a time of 27:35.5 to finish the season.
Eddie Salinas Millan finished 156th overall with a time of 29:27.1, while
Jose Chavez Ramirez placed 183rd with a time of 30:32.
Juan Gomez-Lira capped the Conq performances, finishing 204th with a time of 33:11.1
The Conqs now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season, which will start for the Conqs in January of 2026, as the spring semester starts.
