Men's Soccer Moves Up to #11 in Latest NJCAA Rankings Marking Highest Ranking In School History

Dodge City men's soccer, for the fifth straight week, is ranked among the top teams in the NJCAA as they move up two spots to #11 in the latest NJCAA Division I rankings. 
 
The #11 ranking marks the highest in school history for the Conquistador men's soccer program, while the five-straight weeks in the rankings is the longest period the Conqs have been featured in the rankings in program history. 
 
The Conqs have performed strongly this season and sit at 8-2-3 overall with a 3-2-2 record in KJCCC action, along with 4-0-1 at home. Offensively, the Conqs have scored 33 goals with 13 different goal scorers, including seven multi-goal scorers. Conqs average 13.9 shots per game and have 29 assists on the season. 
 
Conqs have wins over #9 Indian Hills and #6 Barton this season and have a stacked final portion of the season with just four games remaining in the regular season and three against Top 10 teams. It starts with a clash with #8 Barton in Great Bend on Wednesday, October 15th, and then the Conqs will host Seward County on Sunday, October 19th. The final week of the regular season will see the Conqs host #3 Cowley on Wednesday, October 22nd, and then #1 Iowa Western on Saturday, October 25th.
