Men's Soccer Adds Brandon Flores as Assistant Coach

July 06, 2026

Dodge City Community College continues to bolster our coaching staff and improve our student-athletes' experiences. Heading into the 2026 season, the Conquistador soccer programs are adding assistant coaches, and Brandon Flores joins the men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach under head coach Juan Espinal

Flores comes to Dodge City with a good familiarity of the junior college level after spending time at Cisco and Hill Colleges in Texas as an assistant coach and playing at the NJCAA level.

"What excites me the most is the project and the vision that Coach Juan has for this program. When we talked about me being on board, I could tell that he loves to win, cares about the players, and wants to see them succeed. Dodge City is where I want to be, and I hope I can make an impact on this program," said Flores about the opportunity to join the Conqs coaching staff.

The Texas native has spent time as an assistant coach at both Cisco and Hill College, and during the 2025 season, he helped the Cisco women's team to the region final. From 2022 through 2026, Flores was a volunteer assistant/keeper coach for Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep in Dallas and helped them to district runner-up finishes twice and a state finalist in 2026. During this time at Cristo Rey he was named Coach of the Year.

He played college soccer starting at the junior college level as a goalkeeper, spending time at Paris Junior College and Dallas College – Cedar Valley, before wrapping up his collegiate playing career at Dallas Christian College. He recorded 60+ saves in his final season at Dallas Christian in 2022 and earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree.

"I hope I can make an impact with these young men and guide them on a path to succeed on and off the field. I hope to express passion and determination in my coaching to help the program reach our goals and to create a culture around the program and Dodge City as a whole," said Flores.
