After a strong performance at the NJCAA Region 6 Championship the Dodge City women's cross country team vaulted back up into the Top 10 of the USTFCCCA NJCAA Division I rankings. 
 
The Conquistadors jumped six spots in the poll checking in at #8 in the final USTFCCCA NJCAA DI rankings before the NJCAA National Championship in Richmond, Virginia. 
 
The Conqs would finish third overall at the NJCAA Region 6 Championship just four points away from winning the region title. Three sub-19-minute times paced the Conqs while four Conqs finished individually in the Top 10, as the Conq performances in Winfield were filled with personal records. 
 
This season has seen the Conqs finish third as a team five of the six meets they have competed at. 
 
The season will wrap up for the Conqs on Saturday, November 9^th when they compete at the NJCAA DI National Championship in Richmond, VA at Pole Green Park. The Conqs will be looking for their fifth straight Top 10 team finish at Nationals.
