For the third straight week the Dodge City men's soccer team finds themselves in the Top 20 NJCAA Division I rankings as they remain at #15 this week. 
 
The Conquistadors improved to 6-2 on the season last week with a 6-0 win over Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa to continue their strong start to the 2022 season. 
 
Five other KJCCC teams find themselves in the latest NJCAA DI rankings as Cowley remained #3, Barton moved up to #11, Coffeyville slipped one spot to #14, and both Neosho County and Johnson County each jumped into the ranking at #19 and #20, respectively. 
 
On the season the Conqs have enjoyed success in many ways and rank statistically as one of the top teams in all NJCAA DI. The team has tallied 38 goals in eight games which ranks sixth most in NJCAA DI, while the team also ranks second in shots on goal with 96, seventh in shots (165) and shots per game (20.6), and eighth in the nation in assists with 31. 
 
The team has shown strong depth getting contributions from several players all around with 16 different players having at least one goal this season and 13 different players recording an assist this year. 
 
A big week of conference games loom ahead for the Conqs as they will host Garden City on Wednesday, September 24^that 5:30 pm and then travel to Kansas City to take on KCK on Saturday, September 24^th at 2:00 pm.
