(Dodge City, KS) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team has had recent struggles offensively that has led to them losing 7 of their last 9 games.

• Dodge City Community College has started the season with a 17-15 record but has had some struggles in the conference, as they are just 4-12 in Jayhawk play.
• Early on the offense was very strong and the pitching was inconsistent
• Recently that has been flipped as the pitching has improved and the bats have struggled.
• Currently, Dodge City is fifth in the KJCCC in batting average and sixth in slugging percentage.
• Garrett McGowan is tied for 3^rdin the conference with 9 home runs.

Otero Junior College
 

• Otero has struggled to a 10-25 record on the year.
• Their offense has not been good, as they are hitting just .234 as a team. 
• The pitching has not been much better as their ERA is 6.12 as a team.
• Bailey Benz is hitting .311, with an OBP over .400.

 
Colby Community College
 

• Colby has had a good year thus far, winning 22, and losing 12 games.
• The conference portion has not been as successful as they are 9-7.
• They are a much better team at home, winning 9 of 11 at their home ballpark, compared to a 9-8 record on the road.
• Colby is top 6 in batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.
• Logan Hofmann has a 2.26 ERA.
