Dodge City Community College strives to achieve strong success in the classroom and in competition for the Conquistador athletic programs. The Conquistador baseball team has been recognized for its success in the classroom for the 2025-26 school year, as the American Baseball Coaches Association has awarded ABCA Team Academic Excellence honors.

To earn the ABCA Team Academic Excellence award, your team's GPA for the school year must have been 3.0 or better. The Conqs are one of 500 college baseball programs recognized by the ABCA for the award. 

The Conqs baseball team finished with a 3.26 GPA for the 2025-26 school year, with 33 players posting an individual GPA of 3.0 or better, with 11 earning a 3.5 or better GPA. 

Conqs baseball looks to continue to build and take a step forward for the 2026-27 school year under Head Coach JM Kelly as he enters his third season leading the Conqs.
