(Lamar, Co) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team has had recent struggles offensively but has after losing three straight to Pratt they were able to get a win in game two on Sunday.
 
The Series
 
Vs. Lamar Community College
 

• They have met 4 times in the past two years, with Lamar winning 3 of those. 
• Lamar has won three straight in the series.
• Last year the Runnin' Lopes won both matchups.

 
Vs. Seward County Community College
 

• Last year the two teams split their doubleheaders, with each team winning two games. 
• Since 2015 the two teams have been fairly even with Dodge holding the edge winning 9 of the 16 games between the two.

• Dodge City Community College has started the season with a 16-11 record but has had some struggles in the conference, as they are just 4-8 in Jayhawk play.
• Early on the offense was very strong and the pitching was inconsistent.
• Recently that has been flipped as the pitching has improved and the bats have struggled.
• Despite the recent struggles, the Conqs are 5^thin batting average, hitting .311.
• Garrett McGowan is fourth in the Jayhawk with 8 home runs.

• They are 8-6 at home.

• Seward is 16-16 overall, and 8-8 in the conference.
• They are very good at home with a record of 8-3 in Liberal, but just 6-10 away from their home park.
• They have a pair of dangerous hitters in the middle of their lineup in Cayde Ward and Benny Ayala. 
• Ward is hitting .306 and has 30 RBI's.
