(El Reno, Ok) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team has had several games canceled and have not been able to play many games outside, let along getting outside just for practice. Having been ten days since they last played, surely, they are excited to get back on the field against Redlands Community College on Thursday.

- These two teams have not met in recent years as they have not played each other since prior to the 2015 season.
From the Dugout
- Dodge City Community College has started the season 7-2.
- After losing the first two games of the season, DC3 is on a seven-game winning streak.
- Prior to the weather-induced break in play, the Conquistador bats were on fire, leading to the Conqs scoring 96 runs in six games from 2/22-2/25.
- Currently, Dodge City is second in the KJCCC in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage with numbers of .368, .463, and .595.
- Jackson Hogg was named KJCCC player of the week for his play in the week of 2/18-2/25.
Scouting
Redlands Community College
- Redlands has started out the season 2-9.
- After winning their first two games of the season, they are now in the midst of a nine-game losing streak.
- They have had a tough time getting the bats going, scoring just sixteen runs over the losing streak, for an average of under two runs per game.
- On the season, they are hitting just .190, with an OBP of .273.
- Their lone bright spot in the batter's box has been Casey Cooper, who is hitting .306 but has also struck out 16 times in his 36 at-bats.
