(Dodge City, KS) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team has had recent struggles offensively but has been able to win three straight games after splitting with Hutchinson and sweeping Tabor College JV.
The Series
Vs. Pratt Community College
- Hutchinson has the edge in the series winning 11 of the last 16 matchups.
- Last year they split as Hutch won two and Dodge City won two.
From the Dugout
- Dodge City Community College has started the season with a 15-8 record but has had some struggles in the conference, as they are just 3-5 in Jayhawk play.
- DC3 has been very reliant upon its offense thus far with the pitching being inconsistent and dealing with some early injuries.
- Currently, Dodge City is fourth in the KJCCC in batting average, seventh in on-base percentage and fifth in slugging percentage.
- The Conqs have a pair of players in Garrett McGowan and Spencer Marcus who are tied for 3rdand 4thin the conference with 7, and 6 home runs.
Scouting
Pratt Community College
- The Beavers are 14-15 but have really struggled in conference play.
- They are just 1-11 against KJCCC foes.
- The offense has been a problem for them, as they are in the bottom three of the conference in BA, OBP, and SLG.
