(Dodge City, KS) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team was finally able to get some games in and they lost two to Garden City but were able to rebound against Northwest Oklahoma State University JV and look to carry that momentum over into the home and away doubleheaders against the Blue Dragons.
The Series
Vs. Hutchinson Community College
- Hutchinson has the edge in the series winning 11 of the last 16 matchups.
- Last year they split as Hutch won two and Dodge City won two.
From the Dugout
- Dodge City Community College has started the season with an 11-6 record but have won just 1 of 4 games in the Jayhawk.
- DC3 has been very reliant upon its offense thus far with the pitching being inconsistent and dealing with some early injuries.
- Currently, Dodge City is third in the KJCCC in batting average, on-base percentage and second in slugging percentage with numbers of .350, .444, and .538.
- The Conqs have a pair of players in Spencer Marcus, and Garrett McGowan who each have four home runs.
- Padraic Walsh has had a great start on the mound. In his four starts, he has two wins and a 2.14 ERA.

- Hutchinson is in the top seven of the Jayhawk in batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.
