- The Pirates and Conquistadors split the season series last year, winning 2 games each.
- Prior to last year, the Conqs have dominated the series going 12-1 since 2015, now 14-3 including last year's games.Â

- Garden City has started out the season 5-5 after winning 2 straight games.Â
- Hits have been aplenty thus far, with the team hitting .352, 4thbest in the KJCCC.
- That has not led to a ton of run production, however as they are scoring 6.5 runs per game.
- The Broncbuster pitching staff is currently producing a 4.29 era, 7thbest in the Jayhawk.
- This is keyed by Madison Biller, who has a 1.27 ERA on the young season.
