As the Dodge City softball team prepares for the NJCAA Division I World Series, the awards continue to roll in for the team, as freshman
Harley Shoaf was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association NJCAA Division I All-Region.
Shoaf was selected first-team in the West Region for NFCA All-Region honors and is one of only four KJCCC athletes to earn the recognition.
This season, Shoaf has played in 52 games for the Conqs, recording a .438 batting average, which ranks sixth in the KJCCC. The Arnett, Oklahoma native has 56 hits, 12 doubles, seven triples, one home run, 34 RBI, 44 runs scored, 22 walks, and 12 stolen bases. She has 15 multi-hit games on the season, while she ranks second in the KJCCC and 18th in the NJCAA in triples.
Shoaf with seven triples ranks second all-time in school history in a single season, which also ties her for the third most in a career in school history.
The Conquistadors are set to continue the season on May 25th at the NJCAA DI World Series in Oxford, Alabama, and will learn their seeding and first-round opponent on Tuesday, May 19th at 5:30pm on the NJCAA Network with the bracket reveal.
