(Dodge City, KS) --Â The Dodge City Community College Baseball team has played just one series in the last two weeks. After coming off a split against Redlands Community College last weekend, they have a four-game series with Garden City Community College this weekend at home.Â

- Dodge City Community College has started the season with an 8-3 record.
- After losing the first two games of the season, the DC3 bats caught fire as they won eight straight before falling to Redlands Community College in the second game of the doubleheader on March 7th.
- Going into that weekend the Dodge City offense had been phenomenal. Up to that point, the Conqs had scored an average of twelve runs per game.
- Currently, Dodge City is third in the KJCCC in batting average, on-base percentage and second in slugging percentage with numbers of .368, .457, and .586.
- Jackson Hogg was named KJCCC player of the week for his play in the week of 2/18-2/25.
- Hogg is fifth in the conference, hitting a scalding .488.
- Padraic Walsh has had a great start on the mound. In his three starts, he has two wins and a 1.13 ERA, which is good for fourth in the KJCCC.Â

- Garden City has been able to get twenty games in already, winning thirteen, and losing seven.Â
- The Broncbusters have not been able to get their pitching figured out thus far. As a team, they are allowing runs to the tune of a 5.67 ERA, which is fourteenth in the conference.
- GCCC has relied on their fifty-one extra-base hits, sixth in the Jayhawk.Â
