DC3 BREAKDOWN (28-8, 11-5)

AVG: .324 (9th in KJCCC) | OBP: .426 (7th) | HR: 22 (13th) | SB: 21 (18th) | ERA: 4.90 (4th) | OPP AVG: .280 (5th)
Individual Stats

- DC3 has won nine straight games, a streak that started with a four-game sweep at home of Barton on March 25 - a team that was in first place in the KJCCC at the time. DC3 hasn't played a KJCCC game since that series as it has defeated Brown Mackie (twice) and Wentworth Military Academy (three times) to improve its win streak to nine - its second-longest win streak of the season (it started the season 10-0).

- Since dropping three out of four at Colby March 5-6, DC3 is 17-4.

- Pitching has been key for DC3 in its current winning streak as the Conqs have allowed three or fewer runs in seven of the nine games and no more than five runs in any of the games.

- Leading the charge on the mound has been left-handers Jay Rawlins and Matthew Perea. Rawlins is 6-1 with a 2.35 ERA (fifth in the KJCCC) and 38 strikeouts in 46 innings while Perea is 7-1 with a 2.41 ERA (sixth) and 39 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. Perea's seven wins is first in the KJCCC while Rawlins' four complete games is second.

- DC3 has also been getting good work out of the bullpen from Dalton Harvey as the freshman right-hander is 3-0 on the season with a 2.70 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 20 innings of work.

- Clean-up hitter Jason Nichols continues to pace DC3 at the plate with a .381 average. he is second on the team with 31 RBI, is tied for the lead with four home runs and is third with seven doubles.

- While DC3 doesn't have a player in the top 20 in the KJCCC in average, eight of the Conqs' nine starters are hitting above .300 on the season.

- While Max Laney's 18-game on-base streak ended against Brown Mackie on March 29, the sophomore has reached base in 34 of the Conqs' 36 games this season as the DC3 lead-off hitter leads the team with a .511 on-base percentage.

- DC3 has lost 12 straight at Garden City with its last win in Garden City coming in 2008. However, 11 of those 12 losses have been by three runs or less (three losses by three runs, four losses by two runs and four one-run losses over that stretch).

GARDEN CITY BREAKDOWN (29-9, 14-6)

AVG: .333 (7th) | OBP: .449 (3rd) | HR: 35 (10th) | SB: 50 (9th) | ERA: 4.92 (5th) | OPP AVG: .292 (7th)
Individual Stats

- Garden City is coming off taking three of four on the road at Barton last weekend, scoring at least eight or more runs in each contest with its only loss coming 11-9 in game three.

- The Broncbusters have been patient at the plate this season as they lead the KJCCC in walks (221) and are third in the conference in on-base percentage (.449).

- Pacing Garden City at the plate has been sophomore Kyle Lopez as he leads the team in batting average (.482), on-base percentage (.630), slugging (.755) and RBI (49). However, Lopez did miss the final two games against Barton and had just one at-bat in game two.

- Noah Draper has been the top starting pitcher for Garden City as he's 4-1 with a 1.96 ERA with 58 strikeouts in 46 innings.

- While his ERA isn't as strong, Brendan Peitsmeyer is 7-0 for the Broncbusters in eight starts (six complete games) with a 4.11 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 61.1 innings as Garden City's No. 4 pitcher.
