Box Score GREAT BEND, Kan. - A season sweep of rival Barton County Community College was not in store for the Dodge City Community College volleyball as the Conquistadors dropped a three-set match (25-14, 25-16, 25-19) in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play in Great Bend, Kansas on Monday, October 3rd. 

DC3 is now 14-10 on the year and 3-6 in the KJCCC. 

"Our game was off tonight" said head volleyball coach Kamri Nehls in a post-game interview. "We hurt ourselves with too many unforced errors and didn't take care of the ball tonight."

Briana Brown led the team with 13 assists while Sada Smith had nine kills and nine digs. Raquel Valdez appeared to be one of few bright spots for the Conqs as she finished with seven kills and a .538 attack percentage. 

Dodge City will get another shot at a season sweep of a KJCCC foe on Wednesday when the Conquistadors host Garden City Community College at the DC3 Gymnasium. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
