Box Score EL DORADO, Kan. - Trailing two sets to zero and having trouble in the third set, the Dodge City Community College volleyball team found a way to win the third set before winning the fourth and fifth set to pull out 3-2 (12-25, 17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 15-12) win over Butler Community College at Circle High School in El Dorado on Wednesday, October 19th. 
DC3 is now 20-14 on the year and snapped a three-game conference skid to improve to 5-9 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. 
"We were slow to start and we struggled with service receptions, but when it came down to it we wanted it more and went to work" said head coach 
Kamri Nehls in a postgame interview. "I am extremely proud of the work these girls put in tonight and to show the determination to finish the job."
Sophomore 
Briana Brown would lead the team in assists with 20 while 
Tenille Tholen would have 22 digs. 
Raquel Valdez, who leads the NJCAA in solo blocks by 19 heading into tonight's action, added seven more solo blocks to her total to go along with six assisted blocks and 16 kills. 
Sada Smith would add to her list of double-doubles this year with 13 kills to go along with 21 digs and two block assists while Daisy had 15 assists and 13 digs to record a double-double of her own. 
Next up for the Conquistadors will be Pratt, who DC3 beat in four sets earlier this year. Wins in their last two matches of the year would give Dodge City the possibility of finishing as high as the No. 5 seed in the KJCCC postseason tournament.
