Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BORGER, Texas:  DC3 softball split the day with Frank Phillips College last Friday, taking the first game 4-1 before falling 6-0 in game two.

In game one, the Conqs gained the edge in the second inning, going up 2-0 over FPC.  They collected two more in the top of the sixth and gave up one in the bottom of the same frame for the 4-1 decision after seven innings.

Jordan Mecham commanded the circle for the Conqs, pitching seven innings strong while only giving up four hits and one unearned run.  She also fanned seven in 25 batters faced, earning her first KJCCC Pitcher of the Week selection for the 2015 season.

Chantal Prester, Danielle Aldana and Taryn Garza each collected two hits in the game, with Garza tabbing two RBIs and Aldana tabbing one as well.

Game two went to Frank Phillips after they put runs on the board in four innings to complete the 6-0 shutout after keeping the Conqs to only two hits in the game.

Kaitlyn Amaral and Shelby Bowman each posted one hit for Dodge City.

Tristan Rathgeber (2-1) picked up the loss after starting the first two innings in the circle and allowing three runs on four walks. 

Lauren Kelly, Mia Trujillo and Mecham all saw the circle in the end of the game with Kelley giving up one hit and one run after facing three batters, Trujillo allowing six hits and two runs in 3.1 innings pitched and Mecham fanning one to close the game after two batters faced.
