Box Score DODGE CITY, Kansas:  The opposition came out strong tonight, dropping the Conqs in the first two sites and despite a third set comeback, trumping Dodge City with a 3-1 KJCCC victory.

The Cougars took the first and second sets 25-18 and 25-8 before the Conqs fought back in the third with a 28-26 set win to extend the match into four sets.  Barton put Dodge down hard in the fourth set however, as the Cougars won 25-11 to close out the night.
 
Barton out-hit the Conquistadors with 48 kills on the night, paired against the home teams 31. 
 
Hailee Hoskinson led the team with 10 kills and one attack error after 38 attempts.  She also posted four digs and one assist.
 
Emily Slattery held down the net for the Conqs with three block solos and four block asssts.  She also had seven kills in 25 total attempts.
 
Samantha Endres posted 26 digs and two aces while Daisy Cheek and Alexis Sanchez put up 14 and seven assists respectively. 
 
DC3 will continue their weekend on the road at the Allen County Tournament on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20.  On Friday, the Conqs will take on Forst Scott and Indy and on Saturday, the team will compete with Neosho County and tournament host Allen County.
