Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City softball has won seven in a row and nine of the last 10 and K’lee Flores has been a big piece of the Conquistadors success. Flores last week went 3-0 in the circle throwing 16.2 innings giving up just six runs (four earned) on 14 hits and five walks, while striking out 15. 
 
She opened the week with a two-hit shutout with a career high eight strikeouts versus Lamar. Flores then earned wins against Garden City in both games of the doubleheader holding the Broncbusters to just three runs on three hits and three walks with four strikeouts in a complete game in game one of the doubleheader. She then tossed the final 4.2 innings of game two to help the Conqs earn the win. 
 
On the season Flores is 6-2 in 10 appearances with seven starts and has one save. She has thrown 50 innings with 4.20 ERA with 37 strikeouts. She has added .292 batting average with seven hits, eight runs scored, two home runs, seven RBI, and five walks.
