Dodge City men’s basketball topped Northwest Kansas Tech and Garden City last week to move to 9-1 on the season and 5-0 in KJCCC action and Chris Robinson was a key piece for the Conquistadors success.
He opened the week with just six points against Northwest Kansas Tech but impacted the game in several other ways matching a career-high in assists with 10 and adding four rebounds, three steals, and one block. Robinson followed that up by dropping 20 points on 7-11 shooting including 2-4 from three-point range and went 4-5 from the free throw line in the road win over Garden City. He added seven assists, four rebounds, four steals, and had just two turnovers in 39 minutes.
On the season he is averaging 10.9 points per game on 46.6% shooting adding 2.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
