Dodge City women’s basketball picked up a strong win over Coffeyville and dropped a tough game against Seward County last week to sit at 7-2 on the season. Leah Mafua was strong against Coffeyville with her most points as a Conquistador scoring 25 points on 9-18 shooting including 4-8 from three-point range adding three rebounds, one assist, three steals, and a block. She also had 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists in the contest against Seward County. On the season Mafua leads in the team in scoring with 14.1 points per game on 43.7% shooting and 31.4% shooting from three-point range. She’s adding 4.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and two steals per game.
