Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City men’s basketball posted a 2-0 week last week and Jason Edwards was a key piece in both wins. 
 
Edwards continued to spear head the Conquistadors success. Edwards helped the Conquistadors comeback and snag a road win in double overtime at Independence as he scored 23 points on 8-16 shooting and went 6-6 from the free throw line, while adding six rebounds and two assists. He followed that up with 26 points on 11-16 shooting with seven rebounds and seven assists in the win over Colby. 
 
On the season Edwards is averaging 21.6 points per game on 49.4% shooting while adding 3.8 rebounds, two assists, 1.2 steals per game. He ranks 10^th in the nation in field goals made (110) and free throws made (74) on the season, while ranking seventh in total points (345) and 15^th in points per game.
