Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City women’s basketball team split a pair of tight contests last week beating Cowely on the road but falling at home to Coffeyville. Teona Pop Stojanova has played well off the bench in critical minutes for the Conquistadors over the last few games. Stojanova had a career best nine points on 3-4 shooting on the road at Cowley and added two rebounds in 17 minutes. In the loss to Coffeyville, Stojanova played 11 minutes off the bench and tallied six points on 2-4 shooting and 2-2 from the charity stripe, adding three rebounds. 
 
On the season Stojanova is averaging four points per game playing in 12 games this season and is averaging 2.1 rebounds per game.
