Dodge City women’s basketball posted a 2-0 week on the court last week and Bree Stephens was a key piece in both wins and has been a huge presence for the Conquistadors all season. Stephens led the Conqs in a road win over Northwest Kansas Tech scoring 16 points on 7-8 shooting while adding six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. She followed that up with nine points on 3-6 shooting including a pair of three-pointers in the win over Garden City, adding 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and two blocks.
On the season Stephens is averaging 9.3 points per game on 49.4% shooting while adding 8.9 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists, three steals, and 1.6 blocks per game. She ranks 11th in the nation in blocks (18) and 18thin nation in steals (33), while ranking second in the KJCCC both categories.
