Dodge City Community College Athletics

The Dodge City men wrapped up non-conference play and opened conference action with wins last week beating McCook on the road and besting Cowley in their KJCCC opener. Oumar Koureissi was key piece in both wins finishing with double figures in each contest. 
 
On the road against McCook, Koureissi tallied 12 points on 4-7 shooting and went 3-4 from the free throw line and added six rebounds, two assists, and one block. In the Conference opener Koureissi posted 11 points on 4-5 shooting and went 3-5 from the free throw line while grabbing four rebounds. 
 
In seven games this season Koureissi is averaging 12 points per game which is second best on the team. He is shooting 58.8% from the floor on the year and is averaging 5.6 rebounds per game.
