Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City men’s basketball split a pair of games last week beating Northwest Kansas Tech and falling to Seward County. Oumar Koureissi put together a pair of double figure performances in the games. He started his week shooting 6-10 against Seward County and finished with 14 points in the game while grabbing eight rebounds and had one assist. He followed that up 13 points on 6-8 shooting versus Northwest Kansas Tech, while adding seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal. 
 
On the season Koureissi is averaging 11.3 points per game on 56.2% shooting and has started and played in all 22 games this season. He’s added 5.2 rebounds per game this season, also.
