Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City women’s basketball heads into the holiday break in first place in the KJCCC and riding a five-game winning streak after an 84-69 win over Cloud County. 
 
Shakara Anderson has become a steady presence for the Conquistadors this season coming off the bench and making a strong impact. Anderson tallied nine points and grabbed six rebounds in the win over Cloud County. 
 
On the season Anderson is averaging 8.5 points per game on 43% shooting, while shooting 34.1% from three-point range and 81.5% from the free throw line. She is adding 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
