Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City volleyball team went 3-0 last week with a road win over Neosho County and pair of wins at home over North Platte. Nur Yaren Turkmenolgu has had a strong start to the season and last week continued that with strong play in all three matches. Against Neosho County she tallied 37 assists, while adding five digs and two aces. In the first match versus North Platte, she posted 36 assists adding four kills, one dig, and six aces and followed that up with a 40 assist, four kill, three dig, and one ace performance against the Knights. 
 
On the season Turkmenolgu has 431 assists which ranks ninth in the NJCAA Division I and her 11.34 assists per set ranks fourth in the nation. She’s added 30 aces, 32 kills, and nine blocks on the season.
