Former Conq Golfers Perform Well at Four-Year Level During 2025-26 School Year

Several former Dodge City Conquistadors teed off this past year at the four-year college level and had strong golf seasons as they continued their education and collegiate golf careers. 
 
Three former Conq women's golfers and 15 former Conq men's golfers hit the links this season, competing at least one semester for a four-year school at several different levels. 
 
Cooper Scheck (FHSU)
Scheck put together a historic season for himself and Fort Hays State as he became the first men's golfer in program history to qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships. He qualified for nationals after placing third at the Central/Midwest Regional and went on to finish 41st at the NCAA DII nationals. During the year, he won both the Hillcat Classic and the Newman Fall Invitational and recorded 10 top-20 individual finishes, including six top-10 finishes. He closed out his career at FHSU as a three-time All-MIAA honoree.
 
George Fricker (Seton Hall)
Fricker closed out his collegiate career with a fifth year of competition, continuing to compete for the Pirates of Seton Hall. He finished his career at Seton Hall with a scoring average of 73.33, which ranks third all-time in the program, and is tied for third all-time with nine career sub-par tournaments and ranks fourth with 30 career sub-par rounds. He competed in six tournaments this past year, including opening the season with an eighth-place finish at the Alex Logwitz Memorial. During the 2024-25 school year, he was selected as Seton Hall's Senior Male Athlete of the Year. 
 
Supakit Seelanagae (Nevada
Seelanagae wrapped up his collegiate golf career in the fall of the 2025-26 school year competing for Nevada and then turned his attention to competing professionally in his home country of Thailand. In the fall, Seelanagae recorded a top-30 finish to open the season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, and then went on to take second with a 205 (-11) at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational as the team placed fourth. 
 
Brent Reintjes (SIUE)
Reintjes competed at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, helping the team finish seventh at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship. Individually, he tied for 27th with a 224 at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship, while during the season he recorded a pair of top-10 individual finishes, taking fifth at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational and placing eighth at the Racer Intercollegiate. 
 
Rhys Nicholas (Incarnate Word) 
Nicholas had a strong finish to his year at Incarnate Word as he earned second team All-Southland Conference honors after placing tenth at the Southland Conference Championship, shooting a 219 (+3). He helped his team take second at the event with an 867 (+3), finishing only one stroke out of first place. During the season, he recorded a fifth-place finish at the Military City Collegiate and had two other top-30 individual finishes. 
 
Winston Knobloch (Barton College)
Knobloch enjoyed a strong year on the golf course competing for Barton College at the NCAA Division II level. He earned All-Conference Carolinas honors and made the league All-Tournament team after finishing second individually at the Conference Carolinas Championship with a 213 (-3). He helped his team record a score of 873 to take second at the conference event, finishing only four strokes back of the conference title. During the year, he won the Trojan Men's Golf Invite hosted by the University of Mount Olive; he shot 208 (-8), and the team took second. He finished the year with three-straight top three individual finishes and had five top 10 finishes on the year. 
 
Jack McKie & Todd McKie & Joao Iglesias (Mississippi College
Three former Conqs competed for Mississippi College and helped the team finish fourth at the Gulf South Conference Championship as the McKie brothers and Iglesias helped the team post a score of 868. Iglesias took second behind a 207 (-9), while Todd tied for 13th and Jack tied for 25th. The finish is the best for the team since 2017. 
 
Arthit Kruaprayong (UTRGV) 
Kruaprayong competed in six tournaments for the University of Rio Grande Valley, with his best finish coming at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, where he placed 19th with a 215 (-1). UTRGV went on to win the Southland Conference Championship during the season. 
 
Theo Juhl (Pittsburg State)
Juhl hit the links to compete in four tournaments during the year at Pittsburg State, including posting a 25th-place finish at the Maverick Desert Classic after shooting a 148 (+4). 
 
Chutithep Rungpajchim & Colby Hays (FHSU)
Rungpajchim and Hays each competed for Fort Hays State, seeing action in 10 and nine tournaments, respectively, during the year. For Rungpajchim, he tallied four top 25 finishes, including a sixth-place outing at the Hillcat Classic, while Hays notched an eighth-place finish during the year at the Newman Fall Invitational. 
 
Luke Shelton (CSU-Pueblo)
Shelton saw action in three tournaments during the 2025-26 season at Colorado State University Pueblo, with his best outing being a 219 (+3) score at the 2026 Palm Valley Classic. 
 
Thanaphon Suwannapratheep (Georgia Southwestern) 
Suwannapratheep competed in the fall at Georgia Southwestern, seeing action in two events, recording a top-20 finish at the Fripp Island to Bermuda Invite. 
 
Tara Phipps (Dalton State)
Phipps helped Dalton State finish as the NAIA Women's Golf National runner-up, only one stroke behind the national champions as a team. Dalton State recorded a 920-team score at nationals as Phipps competed in the first two rounds of competition. The team won the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship, posting a score of 882 (+18) to win by 63 strokes, and Phipps tied for fourth individually, shooting a 229. He finished the year ranked 50th in the NAIA individually and helped the team win four tournaments and record five second-place finishes.  
 
Zoe Miller (Stonehill College) 
Miller, competing at the NCAA DI level, helped Stonehill College finish seventh at the Northeast Conference Championship Tournament as she tied for 26th place overall with a 245. She recorded multiple top 50 individual performances during the season.  
 
Gaemphuang Ketrahong (Georgia State) 
Ketrahong competed in five tournaments with a scoring average of 80.9 for Georgia State, posting four top 60 individual finishes. She helped the team finish fifth at the UNCG Collegiate, where she tied for 48th place, while she finished +19 at the Red Bandanna Invitational hosted by Boston College, finishing 34th overall.
