The 2025-26 school year has been filled with great performances from Dodge City Community College athletic teams and student-athletes and still more great performances to come to wrap up the school year of the next few weeks. History was made, top finishes have been recorded, records broken, and so much more.
Tuesday night in the Little Theatre on campus, we recognized our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and more with the annual CONQY awards. The CONQYs are special awards to recognize Conquistador athletes, teams, staff, and more for their success during the current school year.
Twelve different awards were presented to multiple recipients on the night with recognition for success in the classroom, on the field/court individually and as a team, for spirit/character displayed as a Conquistador athlete, leadership, community service, and more.
"Every year our student-athletes and coaches put in a lot of work to have success in several ways. This year was no different as the school year featured several great performances from our teams and from individual student-athletes. I'm honored to be able to recognize all the great accomplishments for Conquistador athletics with our annual awards," said Sports Information Director,
Mike Smith.
