Dodge City Community College athletics continues to find success all around in competition and the classroom. The 2025-26 school year featured several strong seasons along with many great performances and some historical performances and accomplishments. The success was also in the classroom for the Conqs with the Athletic Department achieving a 3.03 GPA overall, while several programs had above a team GPA of 3.0 and several athletes putting together strong years in the classroom.
Fourteen Conquistador student-athletes from the sports of men's golf, women's golf, football, men's soccer, women's soccer, cross country/track & field, softball, and women's basketball have earned 2026 Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators in the college division at-large. The College Division encompasses all two-year institutions from across the United States and Canada, along with all other institutions with national affiliations other than the NCAA or NAIA. The CSC All-America program also separately recognizes honorees in four other divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The College Sports Communicators group which recognizes sports information directors and other college media personnel gives away All-Academic honors every year to student-athletes who have achieved success in the classroom and their sport. The student-athletes are nominated by their respective SID or media personnel who are members of the CSC. The 14 Conqs that have been recognized with 2026 CSC Academic All-District honors for the college division are now eligible for CSC Academic All-America honors.
To be considered for honors, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (through all college classes taken at all institutions attended), be a sophomore academically and athletically, and meet certain athletic competition requirements, such as competing in 90% of their team's competitions and/or fulfilling additional requirements for specific sports.
