It was a solid first season under Head Coach JM Kelly for the Dodge City baseball program as the Conquistadors competed against top competition in the KJCCC and NJCAA, posting a record of 32-25 for the 2025 season. 
 
The team also achieved success in the classroom, with a roster of 34, the team posted a GPA of 3.2 for the 2024-25 academic year. The success in the classroom earned the program recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association for academics, as they earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence award. 
 
The ABCA awards its team academic honors to ABCA member teams from all levels, including high school and collegiate baseball, that had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. For the 2024-25 academic year, 440 college programs were recognized with honors from all levels. 
 
Conqs were one of 40 junior colleges to earn the recognition, with three other KJCCC schools joining them on the list.
