Dodge City baseball put up some impressive numbers during the 2025 season and the play of redshirt freshman outfielder,
Juan Concepcion stood out above many to earn him honorable mention All-American honors courtesy of The JBB a junior college baseball media outlet.
The Conquistadors posted a 32-25 record for the 2025 season going 15-17 in Jayhawk Conference and
Juan Concepcion was a key piece to the Conqs lineup throughout the season.
The redshirt freshman in his first season with the Conqs played in 51 of the 57 games during the season hitting .392 with 69 hits, 70 RBI, 29 walks, 64 runs scored, 11 stolen bases, nine doubles, five triples, and 14 home runs. He led the team in home runs, RBI, and triples, while being Top 10 in the Jayhawk Conference in run scored, triples, home runs, RBI, total bases, batting average, and slugging percentage.
Concepcion etched his name into the Conq baseball record books with his season, as he posted several top-10 single-season marks in program history. His 14 home runs rank third in a season, his 64 runs rank fourth in a season, and his 70 RBI is fifth most in a season, while he ranks seventh in triples in a season and eighth in batting average for a season.
