Six Conq Baseball Players Earn KJCCC All-Conference Honors

Dodge City baseball capped year one under Head Coach JM Kelly, pushing KCK in the first round of the playoffs and posted a 32-25 record for the 2025 season. 
 
Six Conquistadors earned KJCCC All-Conference honors for their strong seasons, helping the Conqs to a winning record for the fourth straight year. 
 
Juan Concepcion, MD Conner, and Jose Alfonso all picked up first team KJCCC All-Conference honors, while the trio of Cameron Stukenborg, Seth Brown, and Will David each got the nod for honorable mention KJCCC All-Conference. 
 
Concepcion played in 51 games for the Conqs in the outfield and was one of the team's top offensive threats over the season. He finished the year hitting .392 with 69 hits along with a team high 70 RBI, while adding 64 runs scored, 29 walks, nine doubles, five triples,14 home runs, and 11 stolen bases. He led the team in triples and home runs, while finishing Top 10 in school history in single-season runs scored, triples, home runs, RBI, and batting average. 
 
Conner was a regular strong presence at first base and at the plate for the Conqs as he played in 45 games. He capped the year hitting .377 with 49 hits, 46 RBI, 44 runs scored, 27 walks, 16 doubles, seven home runs, and 12 stolen bases. 
 
Alfonso played in 54 of the team's 57 games on the year, anchoring second base and providing another strong bat in the lineup. For the season, he hit .378 with 65 hits, 57 RBI, 59 runs scored, 42 walks, 13 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, and 18 stolen bases. He finished the season ranking in the Top 10 in school history in single-season runs scored and RBI. 
 
Stukenborg was a two-way player for the Conqs and picked up All-Conference honors at designated hitter. He posted a .379 batting average with 36 hits, 28 RBI, 33 runs scored, nine walks, six doubles, and seven home runs in 42 games. On the mound, he picked up five wins in 14 appearances with nine starts, throwing 57.2 innings, carrying a 5.46 ERA, while recording 35 strikeouts and only giving up 12 walks. 
 
Brown played in 54 games on the year, primarily at third base, and was another consistent presence for the Conqs in many ways. He capped the season hitting .370 with 71 hits, 43 RBI, 69 runs scored, 27 walks, 10 doubles, two triples, a home run, and 23 stolen bases. Brown scored the second-most runs in a single season in school history, only behind one of his teammates, while he also finished ranked in the Top 10 in stolen bases in a single season. 
 
David was the ace of the Conqs' pitching staff as he threw a team-high 61.2 innings in 13 appearances, all being starts. He earned seven wins on the mound while recording 49 strikeouts and had a 6.57 ERA as opponents hit only .272 against him. 
 
The six KJCCC All-Conference honorees for the Conqs mark the fourth straight year with at least four players earning the postseason honors. The Conqs finished the 2025 season with a 32-25 record.
