Game 1 – Lost 17-16 at Pratt
The offensive tone was set early in the series as the Conqs wasted little time scoring with four runs in the first inning on the road in the series opener. Josh McGuin notched an RBI double to get the Conqs on the board and then MD Conner belted a three-run home run. The Conqs would steal home in the third to add another run, but Pratt answered back to tighten up the game scoring four runs in the bottom of the third, and then took a 6-5 lead with a two-run fourth. In the fifth, the Conqs would have an offensive outburst scoring seven runs starting with a two-RBI double by Ben Longoria, and then added three more on a three-run homer by Juan Concepcion in the top of the sixth. Leading 15-6 the Conqs would see Pratt have a big offensive inning in the bottom of the sixth scoring seven and then added two more in the seventh to push the game into extra innings. A scoreless eighth and ninth by both teams pushed the game to the tenth. In the top of the tenth the Conqs worked the bases loaded and a walk drawn by Jose Alfonso gave the Conqs a 16-15 lead entering the bottom of the seventh. Pratt however would have three-straight singles to open the bottom of the seventh and score two runs to take the game 17-16.

Conqs got three more runs in the fourth with an RBI double by Martinez and another RBI double from McClintock, along with a sac-fly by Seth Brown. Three runs in the top of the third by Pratt evened up the game at 4-4 until the bottom of the third when the Conqs again had another big offensive outburst scoring eight runs. A two-RBI double by McClintock and a three-run home run by Concepcion highlighted the eight-run frame. The bottom of the sixth would see the Conqs again explode for nine runs as McClintock and Concepcion each belted a two-run home run in the inning and Martinez added a three-run homer. Pratt would manage another run in the seventh but it was not enough to keep the game going as the Conqs won 25-13.
