Women's Cross Country Finishes 21st at NJCAA DI National Championships to Finish Season

The NJCAA Cross Country National Championships would be in white out conditions as runners competed in snowy conditions in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to finish out the 2025 cross country season. 

The Dodge City women's cross country capped their season with a 21st-place finish as a team, with seven runners competing.  

Pacing the Conquistadors was Daniela Cerda, who finished 82nd out of 177 runners, finishing with a time of 20:52.7. 

Sarai Rodriguez also finished inside the Top 100 as she placed 96th with a time of 21:27.3. Denae Arellano raced to a time of 21:58.5 placing 111th, while Rofina Pablo placed 119th with a time of 22:09.4. A time of 22:48.9 by Jennifer Lamas earned her 135th place, while Karen Vargas Alvarez finished 140th with a time of 23:12.2 and Kristina Bates placed 160th with time of 24:21.2. 

The Conqs now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season, which will start for the Conqs in January of 2026, as the spring semester starts.
